Glen Drury is the Global Head of Advertising, Opera Mediaworks, and is responsible for building the Opera Mediaworks business in emerging markets. His focus is on South East Asia, Russia, India, South Africa and Brazil, where Opera already has a significant market share for its mobile browsers and substantial premium publisher advertising inventory.  Glen relishes the challenges of facing the nascent mobile advertising industry in emerging markets and brings over 13 years of digital ads sales experience to the business.

Before Opera Mediaworks, Glen ran his own digital consultancy, Kanuii.com, focusing on providing operational solutions to clients like TravelZoo, CheapFlights, Verivox, Oakley Capital and Eden Ventures.  He also founded a premium local deals business, Keynoir, which was subsequently sold to TimeOut magazine. Prior to Keynoir, Glen was RVP for Yahoo! Europe and CEO at Kelkoo, Europe's largest consumer goods price comparison site.

In his pre-internet days, Glen spend 10 years in the Automotive & Travel industries in a variety of operational roles with Enterprise-Rent-A-Car.
